What to expect

• Some identifications will be wrong, especially for uncommon species. Every result shows its confidence, and anything short of a confident match asks you to confirm before it is logged.
• Photo identification is live but early. Sound identification is coming soon.
• Species and photo coverage is deepest for common, well-documented wildlife, and it keeps growing.
• Expect the odd slow page or rough edge. This is early software.
• The app is in English for now. Native iOS and Android apps are still being built.

Beta questions

What happens after the beta?

Your account stays active and nothing is deleted or reset. Everything you add during the beta, like sightings, walks, photos and your Wild List, stays yours. The free plan stays free, with the same 20 identifications a month, and Pro and Family plans, including any you upgrade to during the beta, continue as normal. If you subscribe during the beta, your price stays the same for as long as you keep your plan.

Can I get more identifications?

Yes. Send a friend your personal invite link from Community. When they save their first species, you each get 7 days of Pro, which lifts the monthly limit. You can earn this up to 10 times. On the web you can also buy one-off packs of extra identifications that never expire.

What can I use it on?

Any modern browser on your phone or computer, and you can add it to your home screen. Native iOS and Android apps are in the works.

Can other people hear my recordings?

No. Sound recordings can pick up voices and conversations, so they are always private. Bosk never shows or plays your recordings to anyone else, whatever your sharing settings are. Others can see the species and the sighting details you share, never the audio.
